Danang is one of Vietnam’s most exciting travel destinations. It boasts beautiful beaches, delicious food, and iconic attractions. One of its biggest highlights is Ba Na Hills, a stunning hilltop resort offering world-class experiences. If you visit Danang, do not miss this magnificent tourist attraction.

Arriving in Danang and Preparing for Ba Na Hills

We arrived in Danang and checked into a hotel near the beach. The stunning coastline made for a perfect place to relax before my adventure. After a quick lunch and a refreshing beer, we prepared for our sunset tour of Ba Na Hills.

We booked a Grab ride to Danang Downtown, specifically at the Danang Downtown Gate. This location, behind the Monument on 2/9 Street, Hoa Cuong Bac, Hai Chau, serves as the pickup point (3PM) for the shuttle bus. The shuttle would take us directly to Ba Na Hills.

Entering Ba Na Hills: The Excitement Begins

As soon as we arrived at the gates, I knew we were in for something special. The entrance alone was a sight to behold. Additionally, the pathway leading to the cable cars was filled with picture-perfect spots. Every corner seemed designed for a photo opportunity.

The Ba Na Hills Cable Car Experience

Ba Na Hills is home to one of the longest cable car rides in the world, and moreover, it holds world records for both length and elevation. As the cable car ascended, the ride itself became a breathtaking experience. Suspended high above the mountains, we marveled at the lush green forests and mist-covered peaks. In addition, the 20-minute journey offered uninterrupted panoramic views that made the ascent truly unforgettable.

Exploring the Attractions

Ba Na Hills isn’t just about the cable car ride. In fact, the admission ticket includes access to several must-visit attractions. Here are some of the highlights:

Linh Ung Pagoda

This peaceful pagoda sits on top of a hill and features a massive Buddha statue. In addition, the spiritual vibe and stunning views make it totally worth the visit.

Linh Phong Tu Tower

The Linh Phong Tu Tower is a striking multi-tiered structure. It offers an excellent vantage point to take in the surrounding mountains and forests.

Le Jardin D’Amour

Le Jardin D’Amour is a beautifully designed flower garden and a total paradise for nature lovers. Also, the colorful blooms, artistic sculptures, and romantic pathways made it such a picturesque stop.

Tombstone Temple

This temple showcases intricate Vietnamese architecture and provides a peaceful retreat for those seeking a moment of calm.

Moon Castle

Moon Castle looks like it came straight out of a fairy tale. This medieval-inspired attraction adds a magical charm to this attraction.

Golden Bridge

Perhaps the most famous attraction, the Golden Bridge is a marvel of architecture. The giant stone hands appear to hold the bridge up, creating an unforgettable sight. I made sure to take several photos while admiring the view.

Fantasy Park

Fantasy Park is a massive indoor amusement park. It features arcade games, rides, and attractions that are perfect for families and kids.

Dinner at Beer Plaza

The admission ticket included a buffet dinner at Beer Plaza. The spread had a mix of Vietnamese and international food. After all, after a long day of walking around, a big meal like that was just what I needed.

The Best Part: Sunset in the Hills

Honestly, the best part of our visit was catching the sunset in Ba Na Hills—it was seriously gorgeous. The golden sky looked amazing with the European-style buildings in the French Village. Plus, the cool mountain breeze made it feel even more magical. After dinner, we took our time strolling through French Town, and as a result, we really soaked in all the charm.

Would I recommend Ba Na Hills? Absolutely! The cable car ride alone is an unforgettable experience. The attractions showcase Vietnam’s creativity, technology, and artistry. It is a world-class destination that should be on every traveler’s itinerary.
